Places to live in Jávea (8): Costa Nova
The large residential area of Costa Nova has what are probably the best views of the bay, Cabo de San Antonio and the Montgó in all of Jávea. From the houses -many of them large, such as the one in which we have carried out a reform recently- the entire northeastern part of the town has been magnificently contemplated.
Its streets are very quiet as there is hardly any commercial fabric. In the vicinity there are indeed some restaurants but to find most of the services we have to go to Playa del Arenal. This guarantees a lot of calm since there is usually not much traffic on the roads.
There are quite a few free plots in this residential area whose dimensions are between 1,000 and 1,200 square meters. The construction that we find the most is the isolated villa with the presence of traditional elements such as la tosca although in recent years chalets with avant-garde designs have also been built.
Not far from Costa Nova is the forest park of La Granadella, one of the most beautiful spots in all of Jávea and whose cove has been recognized on two occasions as the best in Spain. It also has a wide network of trails to practice a multitude of outdoor activities.
From Costa Nova we have very close accesses to two other coves, the one at Ambolo and the Portichol. In the first one -which is nudist- we can enjoy bathing in a crystalline sea while from the viewpoint, located next to an old watchtower, we have a beautiful panoramic view of the southern cliffs of Cabo de La Nao. And in the Portichol, also known as La Barraca, we can see the old fishermen's houses and the beautiful island in front of the beach.
An entire luxury landscape that is just a short walk from the Costa Nova area.
