Benidoleig is a quiet town located halfway between the coast and the interior in the Marina Alta region. It has a little more than 1,000 inhabitants who are divided between a small town center and an area of ​​scattered houses.

At a tourist level, the main attraction in Benidoleig is the Cueva de las Calaveras. It is a cavity that has more than 300 meters of travel. Inside you will discover stalactites, stalagmites and impressive vaults over 20 meters high. In addition, remains have been found in the cave indicating that it was inhabited from the Middle and Upper Paleolithic. A place not to be missed.

While in the urban area the two most important monuments are the Church of the Holy Blood, built in the 19th century, and the Manor House of the Baron of Finestrat.
