Magazine houses in Jávea

Mediterranean paradise (Photos 1)
This house located near the sea in Jávea needed a small reform to adapt it to its new owners, who would make it their second residence. The main change was to open up the previously dark spaces to let the natural light of the Mediterranean sun bathe the house. The house has a total of 367 m2, divided between the main building consisting of a living room, kitchen, toilet, three bedrooms and a study; and the perfect auxiliary work for guests, with two bedrooms, a living-dining room and a kitchen.
The architecture is traditional Mediterranean, with a garden and swimming pool. It has been updated with modern touches and typical local materials such as clay, wood and esparto grass. Jessica Bataille's studio, which has been in charge of the reform, has given the house a unique character by decorating it with the combination of rescued pieces with custom-made products. The warm colors and light textures combine with the porch and the outdoor chill out area so that the union of the interior and exterior of the house, and these with the environment, is undeniable.

Maison Amour (Photos 2)
This is a single-family house built by the renowned architect Manuel Jorge in the 60s. It has privileged views of the bay of Jávea as it is located in the quiet Puchol urbanization. Despite the good condition in which it was preserved, it is now inhabited again after a beautiful redecoration and reform by Jessica Bataille.
The house is in the Ibizan style, keeping the pure white on the walls and as the common thread of the decoration. However, it has been endowed with a unique character by combining the Mediterranean style with chic, vintage and eco design. Therefore, you will find unique touches of color such as pink, strong blue, green or small patterns that give life to the space. The outdoor terrace deserves special attention, where the vintage style reigns and the kitchen, with an industrial air in which the material par excellence is steel combined with wood.
This house leaves incredible views both inside and outside of it.

Sardinera House (Photos 3)
You may already know Casa Sardinera, the inescapable house of Ramón Esteve that is located between Portixol and Cala Blanca. It is a unique architectural piece that hides secrets in each of its corners. It has an area of 1,285m2 and is committed to pure white both inside and outside, using white splint concrete and bleached wood. The harmony that is achieved is unique.
The house has straight lines and is characterized by its strong tectonic character, the large straight blocks and the long horizontal projections that extend towards the sea, generating porches on the terrace. All the lines that make up the house extend towards the horizon, so the large outdoor pool is infinity. It also has an indoor pool, next to the sauna, gym, service areas and parking. On the ground floor are the day rooms.
The garden is made up of native species, but with a differentiating character as it blends perfectly with the architecture of the house and takes into account the location of each variety. The interior design has been designed by the same architect, maintaining white with natural stones, bleached wood and white microcement with some touches of wood and glass.
An undoubtedly unique house, with views that you cannot stop wishing for and totally respectful of the environment.

Light of the Mediterranean (Photos 4)
The owners of this house, initially built in the 1960s, decided to carry out a rehabilitation while maintaining the architectural elements. In this way, the Mediterranean essence is maintained through the tosca arches, the wooden beams and natural materials typical of the area. This house, which you can find in an urbanization of Jávea, has an outdoor pool and a typically Mediterranean covered terrace.
Its biggest change is portrayed in the interior design. It was decided to paint the walls white and follow the decoration in the same direction in order to let the natural light of the sun flood the house. The upholstery follows the same line, although there are some touches of color with painted wood or textiles with light patterns. Materials such as clay tiles for the floor or esparto blinds have been chosen to enhance the Mediterranean style and thus maintain the essence of the house and the landscape that surrounds it.
This house combines traditional architecture with modern furniture and ethnic touches that give it color.
